Thinking about gloss black/dark colored wheels for the pepper. Maybe aftermarket but probably stocks painted. What do y’all think? Tint will come too.

I saw a tangerine scream with black wheels today and it looked great. But I’m not sure it looks as good with this shade of red/orange

Black wheels suck. The fad is over. Look at every dealer lot, every new car has them.

Plus from 10' away black wheels blend into the wheel openings/ tires.. Black void where your wheels should be

True, a lot of the lower trims of the focus come with either a black and silver wheel like my gf’s sel or all black. I saw a tangerine scream FoST today with black and it looked good, but I’m more on the fence with this shade of color

Fair enough. I think I’m going to do the ST badges in silver which would make me not want to do bronze or gold. These wheels are just so damn good stock.

I think a really high shine titanium color would look great too. Bronze... Maybe a bit much

I think every car should have gold wheels.

Wrong red, but I think it would look better with your red. Maybe even a darker gold or bronze to fit your thought of a darkish wheel. I like the idea of black wheels but in practice they are dumb.

You know, I didn’t think about that. Hot pepper red is hard to find and there’s no way this combo exists yet, so this is the best representation I can find.I like this more than I thought I would.

The bright red balances the bright white. For you I think the white wheels will stand out. IDK if you want that tho.

I would like to do the opposite thing with the Mini; dark bronze wheels to ‘hide’ them. I have bright white one rn.

Don’t do black, and don’t do white. Both work better with more wild colors or with graphite. What your red would go well with is a dark “titanium” color or...bronze.

The problem is, Ford’s finish on wheels tends to suck. Give it 20k miles. At 35k, my wheels need completely refinished.

I’m personally not a fan of black wheels if I had the option. They just hide the design of the wheel.

I’m still in love with that dark metallic red. It’s just gorgeous.

I don’t regret The choice. My ‘17 Kona was beautiful and I thought I’d own it forever but I only had it 8 months before this one. I want to do small things to change it a bit but it’s hard because it looks so damn good the way it is. It changes from super orange to a deep red depending on the time of day/amount of sun/ etc. and the paint is so DEEP. I love the way the rado grey compliments the color and the snowflakes are one of the best stock wheels imo. It’s hard to find a color/wheel that looks better so I’m not sure why I’m trying haha.

But I think they compliment this color well. Especially with the black trim, grill, and headlight surround.

Gunmetal is a nice dark, but not black color. I went gunmetal on my S4 and loved it, then I tried gloss metallic black on my S8 because I didn’t want to go with the gunmetal, but now I regret the decision. But since it’s plastidip, I can change it easy enough. I think I want to go with the new brass monkey color dip your car released. It’s close to the chrysler dark bronze color wheels you can find on the black 300’s.

But try plastidip and you’re only out $50 and your time if you don’t like it. The stuff holds up great as well. Dark colors are nice though as it hides the brake dust.

You need some CR40 on those windows so bad. I got it for my last birthday and the results are night-and-day. These cars get so hot inside and it helps so much...

Stick with the rado greys (because this is the best wheel and color they’ve done) or see if you can land a set of silver snowflakes (usually given away free around here), which I think actually spruce the 15+ body style up pretty well. My winter tires are on a set of silver snowflakes...

White wheels were all the rage back in the early 2000's. Chances are you’ll either end up OCD trying to keep them clean, or you won’t and they’ll end up covered in brake dust within a few days and look like dookie. Or so it seemed anyway.

I think you might get something good from a black wheel, but not gloss black, nor deep black - maybe a very dark gray, almost black, but with a matte finish.

I’m an OCD detailer on the side, so that’s what’s holding me back. The ST makes so much brake dust stock, these will be even More so being all black
